The tabs on a constituent record have the feature of being able to be dragged and dropped into a different position on the row of tabs. Once moved, the tab should stay where it was placed. This works inconsistently, with the tabs re-ordering based upon changes made on an unrelated record (i.e., change on an individual record affects changes on an unrelated organization record).

Blackbaud (which provides the framework for ABE CRM) is hoping to apply a fix in the future that will correct this issue.
