How do I make a gift?

Click the “Give Now” button, which is located in the top-right corner, and select the fund that you want to support.

 

I don’t see my favorite fund listed.

If you don’t see your fund listed, you can click here to make a gift to the fund of your choice.

 

My gift will not process?

Make sure the credit card information is entered correctly. If you are still having issues, you can chat with a live person, or if that option is not available, please click the “Contact Us” button.

 

Will my company’s match count toward Fill the Hill?

Your company match won’t count toward the Fill the Hill total but will still be directed to the fund you supported.

 

How will my gift be used?

This will depend on the fund(s) you decide to support. Each fund page has a short description to give you a better understanding of how your contributions will make a difference.

 

Is there a minimum gift amount?

Yes. There is a $5 minimum gift amount.

 

Can I make a gift by phone? 

Yes! You can call anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and a member of our team will be excitedly awaiting your call at 800-443-6162 to help you make a gift to your passion at UW–Madison. 

 

Is my Fill the Hill gift tax deductible?

Yes, and you will receive a mailed gift receipt for tax purposes from the University of Wisconsin Foundation. You can expect to receive this receipt in the mail two to three weeks after your gift is made.

 

How can I give stock to support Fill the Hill?

Go to supportuw.org/securities and complete our online stock form. 

 

What if I want to give via my donor-advised fund or make a qualified charitable IRA distribution?

If you’d like to make this charitable gift commitment during Fill the Hill, please call 800-443-6162 to confirm your intent to include your contribution in the day’s total.
